What is a mosaic?
    A mosaic is an image composed from hundreds of smaller images.

How many pictures do I need to make a mosaic?
   In order to assure a high quality mosaic, we recommend you use at least 100 different images, however as low as 50 pictures will be sufficient. The general rule is; the more the better.

What will happen if I don't have enough pictures?
   If you don't have enough pictures, the images you submit will repeat more often. Basically, the less images you submit, the more the repetition of those images.

What is a cell image?
   Cell images are the small pictures that make up the source/background image.

What is the source/background picture?
   The source/background picture is the large image that is made up by cell images.

What sort of picture should I use for my source/background picture?
    Choosing the source picture is one of the most important steps in creating a mosaic image. Your source picture should be of great quality with high resolution and little detail. Pictures of faces, plain landscapes and simple objects are a few examples of good source pictures.

Can I order a black and white mosaic?
   Yes, we do offer this option.

Does the size of the mosaic poster impact the quality of the picture?
   No, size does not matter. However the larger the poster, the larger and clearer the individual cell images become. Nevertheless, all sizes display the same high quality standard.

What type of images do we accept?
   We accept Jpeg, Bitmap, and Gif images.

How long will my upload take?
   On average your upload will take:
100 photos - 3 minutes
200 photos - 5 minutes
300 photos - 8 minutes

When should I expect to receive my MyZaic?
   On average, delivery turn around time is seven to ten business days.
